Invitation
We are pleased to inform you that the 11th International
Table Tennis Federation Sports Science Congress will be held in
Yokohama, Japan
on April 25-27, 2009 preceding the 50th World Table Tennis
Championships Yokohama, Japan. This congress is supported by the ITTF
Sports Science Committee and JTTA Sports and Medical Science
Committee. The congress provides the participants with a precious
opportunity to exchange up-to-date information on very wide fields of
sports and medical science including skill analysis, coaching,
biomechanics, nutrition, doping, medical aspects, social aspects,
physiology, etc for table tennis and serve as means to promote
international friendship among all of participants.
You are cordially invited to present a paper in the congress and are welcome to enjoy the warmest hospitality in Japan. Important Dates Deadline for abstract submission: 5th January, 2009 Notification to authors: 1st February, 2009 Deadline for full paper submission: 1st March, 2009 Venue The Congress will be held in Yokohama Sports Medical Center. The Center is within a walking distance from the venue of WTTC. Abstracts should be no more than one A4 page in length (unjustified, typed in Times New Roman 12 point font, single space) in the official language, English. Sample abstract layout is available of the Congress Web site. Each abstract should be original work that has not been previously published. All abstracts will be reviewed prior to acceptance. Full papers that are reviewed will be published in the Table Tennis Sciences after the congress.
